《封神训练营》是一档演员成长纪实观察真人秀，记录“封神质子团”从全球海选开始，经历面试、文化、武术、弓箭、礼仪、舞蹈等专业课程培训、阶段性汇报演出、合宿纪实······蜕变为电影主角的全过程。。本片主要介绍黑人女歌手比莉．荷莉黛的生平故事，是一部“历尽沧桑一美人"式的文艺歌唱大悲剧。片中对毒品之为害描写甚为深刻，但对女主角吸毒原因则交代得简略，未能拍出深度。在片中饰演比莉．荷莉黛的戴安娜．罗丝是“至尊者"合唱团的女歌手，她首次亮相银幕即表演得十分落力，她因此被提名奥斯卡金像奖。另外比利狄．威廉斯、李察．普瑞尔等的表演也不俗，片中配乐由米契利．格兰创作。。This story is about a musician, Natalie, who moves to a big city and tries her luck at becoming famous.
