永诛（黄正民 饰）在首尔经营歌舞厅，但不幸破产又患上了肝硬化，更不幸的是他的友秀妍（孔孝真 饰）也要离开他。 他跟母亲及朋友们说到国外去，实际上他来到了一间乡村疗养院。结识了身患严重肺病的恩熙（林秀晶 饰）。虽然在疗养院生活了8年，每当发作她都觉得自己将要死去，但她乐观 的态度深深感染了永诛。两人很快便相爱了，永诛在恩熙的帮助下病情得到了很好的控制，后来两人更搬离了疗养院开始了同居生活。 但当永诛再次回到首尔，他便有了要离开恩熙的念头，恩熙痛不欲生但还是让永诛离开了。分开后永诛的生活一塌胡涂，病情加重的他住院了，某天他也得知了恩熙的消息… …。During the cold and rainy off-season a man arrives in a seaside town and, giving his name only as Pierre, checks into the only hotel which remains open. His arrival arouses curiosity and a degree of suspicion, as people note that he appears to know the area, yet gives no explanation for his presence at that bleak time of year in the dead-end town.。
