Detective Jay Swan is assigned to investigate a mysterious disappearance on an outback cattle station. Soon, Jay's investigation uncovers a past injustice that threatens the fabric of the whole community.。丁咏涵（陈楚寰饰）是处理遗产纠纷案件为主的律师，也是上司的爱将，却需与新来的律师罗恩琪（何盈莹饰）竞争职位。两人当年原来是闺蜜，但因为男生而撕破脸皮。为了不输给恩琪，咏涵被逼与私家侦探林振斌（吴岱融饰）合作，联手调查多宗遗产纠纷的案件，并从一开始的水火不容，渐渐有了默契。岂料，咏涵这时发现自己的爸爸原来只是继父，而亲生父亲竟是振斌......。劳勃为追求自我，遇着放荡不羁的漂流生活，由于接获父亲中风的消息，遂驱车赶回老家华盛顿州，途中和志趣相投的潘摩结为好友，并发生了一连串趣事。返家后，劳勃和家人共叙陈年旧事，在探望完病中的老父后，又踏上了他那永无休止的旅途……。
